The Association of Bureaux De Change Operators of Nigeria has secured approval from the Central Bank of Nigeria to launch ‘Live Run Automation Portal’.
The project is expected to automate all BDCs’ operations with those of the Nigeria Inter-bank Settlement System, the Nigeria Financial Intelligence Unit and the CBN to improve compliance to industry regulations.
President of the Association of Bureaux de Change Operators, Aminu Gwadabe, said the approval re-affirmed the regulator’s commitment to a transparent and viable foreign exchange market.
According to Gwadabe, the portal will sustain transparent transactions, boost the morale of members and ensure continuous operations.
