Nigeria’s Victor Moses is out of the final three-man shortlist for the CAF African Player of the Year award.Egypt’s Mohamed Salah, Senegal’s Sadio Mane and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang of Gabon made the final cut.

The final shortlist, selected from a list of 30, was unveiled on Monday in Accra, Ghana.

Salah had earlier beat Moses, Mane and Aubameyang to the BBC version of the award.

Super Falcons striker Asisat Oshoala, made the Women’s Player of the Year final shortlist.

The reigning champions will contend with South Africa’s Chrestina Kgatlana and Cameroon’s Gabrielle Aboudi Onguene.

Super Eagles head coach Gernot is also nominated in the final three-man shortlist for the Coach of the Year.

The German will slug it with Argentine and Egypt’s coach Hector Cuper and Wydad Casablanca’s L’Hussein Amoutta.

For the Men’s National Team of the Year nominees, Super Eagles of Nigeria, African champions Cameroon and Egypt made the final list.

The winners will be announced in January in Accra, Ghana.

Meanwhile, in the on going season, Egypt’s Mohammed Salah has scored 20 goals in 26 matches for Liverpool.

Senegal’s Sadio Mane has 7 goals in 15 matches for Liverpool. Gabon’s Pierre Emerick Aubameyang has 21 goals in 23 matches while Victor Moses has just 1 goal in 14 matches for Chelsea this season.
