President Muhammadu Buhari on Saturday marked his 74th birthday inside the Presidential Villa in Abuja. The low-key event, which lasted barely 30 minutes, was marked at the forecourt of the President’s office.
Highlight of the brief ceremony includes a military parade by men of the Guards Brigade.

Buhari signed his birthday register and released 74 pigeons signalling peace.
Those in attendance include the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal, the Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari, Information Minister, Lai Mohammed, Service Chiefs and other top government
functionaries.
