The European Union has urged UK to honor its commitment about recent breakthrough in Brexit negotiations.
EU’s chief negotiator, Michel Barnier made the remarks in Brussels after British Brexit Secretary, David Davis likened the Brexit agreement to a “statement of intent” rather than a “legally-enforceable thing”.
The European Parliament’s chief negotiator also said that Davis’ comment will undermine EU’s trust in the UK and can make Brussels react by taking a hard-line stance on the Brexit talks.
