The Senate has adjourned it’s plenary for two months after screening and confirmation of all the 43 ministerial nominees sent by President Muhammadu Buhari.
The Senators have earlier suspended their annual recess to enable them attend to the ministerial nominees sent by President Muhammadu Buhari.
Senate President Ahmed Lawan made the announcement on Tuesday. The lawmakers are to reconvene on September 24.
Before the adjournment, the senators went on a 30 minutes break to enable them adopt the votes and proceedings if the day, which they did after resumption.
