Ogun State governor, Dapo Abiodun has emerged Chairman of Southern Governors’ Forum.
His counterpart in Anambra state, Charles Soludo also emerged the Vice Chairman of the forum.
The decision was reached at the end of the governor meeting in Abeokuta, Ogun state capital.

The meeting which was held at the presidential lodge, Ibara housing, Abeokuta was attended by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos and Chairman of Southwest Governors’ Forum, led pack of the early callers at the meeting.
Other Governors in attendance include Seyi Makinde (Oyo), Biodun Oyebanji (Ekiti), Alex Otti (Abia), Godwin Obaseki (Edo), Ademola Adeleke (Osun), Bassey Otu (Cross River) and Umo Eno (Akwa Ibom)
Also in attendance are, Deputy Governors, Chinyere Ekomaru (Imo) and Monday Onyeme (Delta), Olayide Adelami (Ondo) Anambra State Governor, Charles Soludo and Ebonyi State Governor, Francis Nwifuru.
