The Federal High Court Abuja, has dismissed a suit seeking to disqualify former President Goodluck Jonathan from participating in the 2027 presidential election.

The court described the case as an abuse of court process and subsequently struck it out.

In its ruling, the court awarded a cost of N20 million against the plaintiff in favour of Jonathan.

The court also ordered the plaintiff to pay an additional N1 million cost in favour of the Attorney-General of the Federation.
