A group of Benue natives, has called for the unconditional release of the Former Governor of the State, Gabriel Suswam, from the detention of the DSS.
They described his continuous detention, since February 25th this year, as illegal and unconstitutional.

Spokesman of the group, Tim NYor, said, they were bothered that he is being denied access to a court of law, where he should be tried.
He also implored the National Assembly and the international community, to wade into the matter.
