The Court of Appeal sitting in Owerri has dismissed the appeal filed by Ndutimi Alaibe challenging the Peoples Democratic Party’s primaries that produced Senator Douye Diri as the governorship candidate of the party in Bayelsa state.
The petition against Diri’s emergence as PDP candidate by the former Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has been on since 2019.
