Basketball federation considers minimum wage for players in pro clubs

The Nigeria Basketball Federation, NBBF, led by Ahmadu Musa-Kida, is to propose a minimum wage for professional players in the country.

Athletes representative on the board, Ejike Ugboaja gave a hint on this at a two-day retreat for local players of the game.

Ugboaja says the NBBF will enter into talks with clubs in Nigeria League system to explore the idea.
