Aviation roadmap has reached 90% completion-Hadi Sirika

Nigeria’s Aviation Minister, Hadi Sirika says components of the Country’s Aviation Roadmap has reached 90% Completion as government solidifies efforts to achieve full completion in April next year.

The Minister disclosed this at a Press Conference in Abuja while speaking on the Achievements of President Muhammadu Buhari in the Aviation Sector.

He said despite the impact of the COVID 19 Pandemic on the global Economy, Nigeria’s Aviation Sector is among the fastest recovering sector in the World.

President Muhammadu Buhari Administration’s scorecard series continues with the spotlight on Nigeria’s Aviation Sector.

The Aviation minister in a 3 hour presentation, reeled out the Achievements of the Buhari Administration in the Sector and the level of progress recorded in the implementation of its Road map.

The ultimate objective for the minister has been to improve all institutions within Nigeria’s aviation sector in order to comply with international best practices in order to assure passenger safety and make aviation the most popular means of transportation.

Nigeria’s Information Minister in his opening speech, dispelled rumors that Government had any intentions to ban any social media platform.

But said the social media is on the government’s radar to prevent the spread of fake news, hate speech and misinformation.

The Federal Government said these achievements will set a precedent for the next administration and it will do all in its capacity to ensure these positive legacies are sustained.
