A twenty million naira bail has been granted to Abdullahi Babalele, the son-in-law to the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar.
He is accused of laundering one hundred and forty thousand dollars in February, days before the 2019 elections.
Justice Nicholas Oweibo of the Federal High Court, Ikoyi ruled, that Mr Babalele must provide one surety in like sum who must be resident in Lagos.

Also a lawyer to Mr Atiku Abubakar, Uyiekpen Osagie-Giwa, and his brother, Erhunse were granted bail in the sum of twenty million naira each, with one surety in like sum.
This was after they pleaded not guilty to the three count charge of laundering two million dollars.
The two cases have been adjourned until the eight of October.
