The traditional ruler of Agbada-Nenwe in Aninri Local government area of Enugu state, has dissociated his community from the rumoured eviction of Fulani herdsmen.
This is in response to a video on social media that showed a herd of cow being driven away.
TVC News Correspondent, Bamidele Ajayi who visited the community reports that there was a contrast to the scenario being painted in the video, as Agbada-Nenwe community was seen as a serene and peaceful environment, which negates the perception being created by the online video narration.
Leader of the Fulani community in Enugu state said he had carried out series of investigation and discovered that the video was highly misleading
Governor of Enugu enlightened the youths on the constructive use of the social media. He also highlighted the positives of doing business in the state.
The viral video was a movement of cattle actually traveling from Calabar in Cross Rivers state, through Uburu-Ohazara in Ebonyi state, and Agbada-Nenwe, enroute Lokpanta in Abia state. It is not a strange sight to residents of the community.
