The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Adamawa State has commenced its state congress in Yola to elect a new executive committee that will lead the party for the next four years.
The congress, which brings together delegates from all 21 local government areas of the state, follows the successful conclusion of ward and local government congresses, which were widely praised for their peaceful conduct and high level of participation.
Supervised by officials from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), security agencies, and party stakeholders, the exercise is being closely monitored to ensure transparency, fairness, and strict adherence to electoral guidelines.
