Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun, has flagged off construction of the fourteen-kilometer Ijebu-Ode-Epe road with a promise to turn it to a dual carriageway.
The project is expected to be completed in twelve months and provide empowerment opportunities for artisans in the area.
Kazeem Olowe reports that moving into Lagos through the Ijebu Ode-Epe-Mojoda road comes with a bit of
hardship due to the poor condition of the road.
But when completed, the road is expected to reduce man-hour spent on road traveling from Ogun State to Lagos, through Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
The Governor also noted that it will also improve security and living standard of the people in the area.
Residents and transporters commended the Governor for taken the bold step.
