For more than a decade, Nigeria has been battling insurgency in the Northeast. The menace has now crawled into paths of the Northwest and North central.
The long and hard fought war with Boko Haram terrorists have claimed many lives and left in its wake millions of people who have been displaced and now have to live in the refugee camps under very poor conditions.
Palliatives from the federal government have not done much in ameliorating their suffering. This is why Amazing Smiles Foundation is doing its part in supporting these victims of terror financially, educationally, emotionally, and the likes.

Founder of Amazing Smiles Foundation, Abigail Jerry, speaking on TVCBreakfast on the situation said these victims of Boko Haram and terrorists, have really gone a lot through a lot, especially the widows.
The conditions you find these victims are very pitiable.
Speaking on how she engages these victims, Mrs Jerry said she reaches out to them by visiting the IDP camps, locations where they are based.
According to her, there are so many victims of terrorism who have been abandoned and need help, they are conditions are very bad.
“Within the IDP camps, there are so many who don’t have food to eat, or clothing, their situation is very bad.
She also added that personal funds are used for these charitable deeds as she derives joy in putting smiles on the faces of these victims.
So far, sixty thousand widows have been impacted from 2019 till date.
The Amazing smiles founder also stated that so far about 22 states have been covered and three western African countries
Still on how she is able to fund the works of the foundation, Mrs Jerry said profits from her business are put into good use in ensuring that smiles are put on the faces of victims in the IDP camps she has visited so far.
She noted that widows are also taught skills in soap making, after which they are supported with some funds to help them start up.
Speaking on collaboration with other non-governmental organisations, she said she is ready for partnership to further broaden her reach.
