42 Primary Schools receive Sports Equipment in Osun

Image result for Sports EquipmentForty-two primary schools drawn from the 30 local government areas and one area council of Osun state are the beneficiaries of the of sports equipment donated by the National Lottery Trust Fund.

The public schools in Osun state  got their share as part of the 2000 public primary schools targeted by the national Lottery Trust Fund for the development of grassroots sports.

The representatives of the federal government said the sports equipment were purchased at the instance of the directive of President Mohammadu Buhari as a commitment towards realising youth potentials.

The Executive Secretary, National lottery Trust Fund, Habu Gumel believes that with the kind of sports equipment in schools, the beneficiaries can develop to become world beaters in different sports in the nearest future.

The intervention covers presentation of equipment for Basketball, Football, Volleyball, Handball, Badminton, Athletics, Taekwondo, Judo and Table tennis.
