The 32 Artillery Brigade of Nigerian Army, Akure has donated sets of computer and education materials to some schools in Ilaje Local Government Area of Ondo State.
Ayodeji Moradeyo reports that the gesture from the 32 Artillery Brigade of the Nigerian Army, Akure, came few hours after the flag-off of Operation Crocodile Smile IV in Okitipupa Local Government Area of Ondo state.
After a show-of-force patrol on land and in water in Igbokoda, men of the brigade moved to some schools at Atijere community in Ilaje Local Government Area of the state.
They were led by the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of 2nd Division of Nigerian Army, Ibadan, Major-General Anthony Omozoje, who was represented by Brigadier-General Thomas Ogunsugba.
Items donated to the schools were sets of computer and printers, exercise books, generating sets, stationery and sporting materials.
Traditional rulers from Igbokoda, Okitipupa and other surrounding communities, were full of praises for the Nigerian Army for the launch of
the exercise and the donations.
Some communities in Ondo South Senatorial district will be provided with free health services in the days ahead.
