The remains of twenty five persons killed by bandits in four villages in Rabbah local government area of Sokoto state have been buried in a mass grave.

They were killed when Rekkoni, Gehe, Tsage and Kalhu villages were attacked late on Saturday night by gunmen, who shot sporadically.
The governor of Sokoto state was among the mourners at the burial ground.
The commissioner of police in the state says four suspects including a woman who claimed to be mad have been arrested.
