Cancer: Experts seek innovative, preventive approaches to increase early detection

Health experts at a two-day high level regional seminar on promoting cancer awareness and advocacy programs is seeking innovative approaches for prevention and early detection of cancer.

They want better ways of raising awareness to improve care and management for cancer patients across the African region.

Only about 30 percent of people suffering from cancer have access to proper care and treatment and these experts want this number improved for better health outcomes through the use of safer technology treatment.
