Navy Officers Wives remind Women to watch for Early Signs of Breast Cancer

Image result for Breast Cancer Awareness in NigeriaThe Navy Officers Wives Association has taken the advocacy on Breast Cancer awareness to the Kuje Area Council in the FCT.

There, they enlightened residents on the early signs to watch out for, and what to do if symptoms are noticed.

The Association, also donated relief materials to the community.

After a brief tour of the facility and presentation of materials, they took out time to enlightened women on early detection of Breast Cancer.

The Association says the awareness campaign is ongoing in different parts of the country.

A practical example of how to detect the cancer, was shown.

The group also advised the women, to watch out for hereditary signs, and stay away from breast firming creams

The association also has plans for the women who have been diagnosed with the disease.

The Month of October, has been set aside for the awareness of cancers, especially breast cancer and the Navy Officers Wives Association are playing their role by taking it to the grassroot.
