Voting has commenced at three state constituencies where by-election is taking place in Kano state, Northwest Nigeria.
The votes were being cast amid security presence.
Party agents and voters at various polling units confirmed arrival of sensitive voting materials on time.

The state is relatively peaceful and normal vehicular movements are experienced within the metropolis where the by-election is not held.
