A Kogi State Governorship aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress Yakubu Murtala Ajaka seems to be winning the support of prominent groups in the state ahead of the Governorship election.
The latest is from the Kogi Elite Forum, a foremost socio-Political group in the state.
The group’s spokesman Abdulazeez Adeiza passed a vote of confidence on the APC chieftain who is also the deputy National Publicity Secretary of the party.
He described Ajaka as a trail-blazer and inspirational leader whose commitment to the development and overall progress of the ruling APC in Kogi cannot be ignored.
He said the contribution of the Governorship hopeful through the donation of 46 cars was a significant logistic support that ensured the APC was able to campaign in the nooks and crannies of the state and gave Asiwaju Bola Tinubu majority of the Kogi votes in the Presidential election.
The Kogi Elites Forum condemned the purported suspension of Yakubu Ajaka and warned members of the APC against playing politics of bitterness.
They commended Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello and the APC for coming out to clear the air on the rumoured suspension of the APC chieftain.
