Youth from the six states of the south-south region gathered in Asaba to strategise ahead of the 2023 presidential election with the intention to maintain the dominance of the PDP in
the region.

For them, there is a higher stake as the vice presidential candidate is from their region, he is also someone the described as a youth
friendly governor who has given young people opportunities in politics and business.

The Youth say Atiku/Okowa ticket is the best in the offing for now and they are ready to work to ensure they win the 2023 presidential election.

But despite their good intentions, one thing is standing as a barrier to the success of the party.

They agreed that the lingering political storm in the PDP has continued to make the party unstable.

All hope is not lost as the youths say they will intervene and resolve the matter that seems to defy all interventions.

The inauguration of a zonal sub committees and zonal female coordinator and the Delta state steering committee campaign council followed as the youths are determined to mobilise millions of votes for Atiku Abubakar.
