The Federal Civil Service Service strategy and Implementation plans, introduced in 2021 as a follow up to the initial plans, 2017-2020, is one of the initiatives of the President Buhari’s administration
It is aimed at repositioning the Federal public service as an effective machinery of government for improved service delivery
The Ministry of humanitarian affairs, being saddled with the crucial mandate of delivering social investment to the people, has started capacity building for its staff
It is one of the ministries to do this, and it is to ensure a proper and adequate service delivery to the people in all its NSIP Projects
Proper implementation of the projects under the Ministry is indeed capable of lifting Nigerians out of poverty
It is therefore important that the staff in the ministry understand all the innovations and systems introduced under the strategy and implementation plans 2021-2025, which includes transparency in payment to vendors and 3rd parties.
The Ministry promises to continue to carryout sensitisation and capacity building for all staff to ensure total compliance with the ongoing reforms of the federal government
This may prove crucial for the Ministry which continues to come under criticism for its financial management processes.
The Training programme is expected to be a platform for members of Staff of the Ministry to prepare better for Disaster Management across the Country.
The programme will also serve as a platform for the creation of an effective workforce that will help in establishing a solid foundation for the still young Ministry.
