Bayelsa state Police Commissioner, Uche Anozia, has warned police officers in the command not to compromise the integrity of the local elections holding on Saturday.
The State Police boss said any officer found wanting will be severely punished.
Joined by officers from Delta and Edo, the numerical strength of the Bayelsa Command is further enhanced in preparation for the Local Government
election on Saturday, the 10th of August.

The Bayelsa Police command wants to be part of a success story of violence-free conduct of the polls. More than forty political parties will be participation in the Local Government election on Saturday.
