Tour de France participants paraded through the streets of Brussels on Thursday, two days before the start of the race in Belgian capital.
At the official presentation of the teams on the city’s landmark ”Grand Place,” 2018 Tour de France winner Geraint Thomas said the the new edition of the race would be ‘interesting’ because of the large number of great cyclists participating in it.
Egan Bernal ,a 22-year-old Colombian, who is the bookmakers’ favourites ahead of Thomas,also said he tried not put too much pressure on himself and will go day by day.’
The Tour de France starts in Brussels on Saturday and concludes with its traditional finish on the Champs-Elysees in Paris on 28 July.
