Image result for recessionThe federal lawmaker representing Akure South/North constituency in the House of representatives, Afe Olowookere says the current hardship being faced by Nigerians will be over, if the 2017 budget is well implemented.

The lawmaker made the statement at the foundation laying ceremony of two blocks of classrooms in some communities in Akure, Ondo State capital.

There is no doubting the fact that Nigerians are going through economic hardship, due to increase in the price of foodstuffs and other essential commodities.

Despite this, a federal lawmaker, Afe Olowookere believes that Nigeria will soon get out of the economic recession.

Speaking at the foundation laying ceremony of two blocks of classrooms in some communities in Akure, Ondo State capital, Olowookere advised Nigerians to exercise patience with the current government.

At the event, which was attended by the Deji of Akure, Oba Aladetoyinbo Aladelusi, traditional chiefs and some members of All Progressives Congress (APC), the lawmaker urged Nigerians to always pray for President Muhammadu Buhari to succeed.

Olowookere also stressed the need for government at all levels to invest heavily in education.

According to him, any nation that toys with education is playing with its future.  The high point of the event was the foundation laying of the two school buildings by the Deji of Akure.
