Members of the house of representatives have summoned the Inspector General of Police over the alleged judicial killing of a footballer and three others in Bayelsa.
Shooting stars footballer, Joseph Izu was allegedly shot by soldiers attached to the Joint Military Task Force at Okakhi, a border town between Bayelsa and Rivers States.
But the Nigerian army has defended the action saying Izu was killed during a raid on a cultist’s hideout.
