Zamfara State government says Security of lives and property of citizens remains its top priority and will not relent in that direction.
The Government also says it will continue to deliver dividends of democracy to it’s people which is one of it’s mandate as a government
The speaker of the Zamfara state House of Assembly Nasiru Mu’azu Magarya stated this at an APC Stakeholders meeting held in Zurmi Local Government area of the state
The meeting is aimed at strengthening the already existing relationship between Supporters of former Governor Abdulazeez Yari, Senator Kabiru Marafa and those of the current
Governor, Bello Matawalle
The three Political leaders had some months ago reconciled and resolved their Political differences in the interest of peace, APC’s progress and Development of the state
The Speaker of the Zamfara state House of Assembly Nasiru Magarya is the convener of the meeting which held in his hometown, Zurmi Local Government
Magarya assures the people of Zurmi that Government is committed to Continue to meet their needs at all times
The Number one Zamfara lawmaker described the recent reconciliation by the political class in the state as one of the factors leveraged upon in bringing lasting peace in Zamfara
He commend the party leadership and supporters for their peaceful conduct and support to the present administration, while calling on them to do more especially as the APC led Government is committed to developing all sectors in the state
“Security of lives and property of our citizens is our major concern, we will not relent in our efforts in that direction and delivering the dividends of democracy to our people is also another area we will continue to put in our best until they feel the taste of democracy” Hon. Magarya Said.
” I call upon my people here in Zurmi Local Government to continue to support the administration of Governor Bello Matawalle in its efforts to better the lives of the citizenry and put smiles on their faces irrespective of Political differences” The Speaker added.
On the 2023 General election, speaker Magarya enjoins the people to massively vote for APC Candidates at all levels as that will translate to success and Development of Zamfara State and Nigeria at large
” I enjoin you all to come out and vote for all APC Candidates at all levels in next year’s General Election”
” Voting APC will enable elected leaders the opportunity to justify confidence reposed in them by delivering more dividends of democracy” Magarya maintained.
In their separate remarks, former and current Chairmen of Zurmi Local Government and that of the APC Gambo Mayasa and Ummaru Dan Mai Gadi pledged to work in unity to ensure the success of all APC Candidates come 2023
The duo also commended Governor Bello Matawalle and Speaker Nasiru Muázu Magarya for their leadership qualities which paved way for inclusive governance
Also on their part, Women Political leaders in Zurmi LGA Bakwai Idris and Ladidi Ahmad Zurmi applaud Governor Bello Matawalle for initiating political reconciliation, noting that it will in no small measure help in encouraging peace and unity among the people, thereby promoting political and socio-economic status of the state
The grassroot politicians further vow to Continue to support the speaker in bringing Development to his Constituency and his quest for Re-election in 2023
