Youth empowerment has been described as a necessity if the nation has to reap the benefits from the younger generation.
This comes as the progressive national youth wing of the all progressives Congress unveiled an enterprise skills development training programme for young business owners in Lagos.
This is a gathering of young people eager to learn from others who have tow the path of entrepreneurship.
Many have businesses they hope to scale up by leveraging on this training programme.
The national youth leader of the APC as well as other speakers harped on the importance of empowering young people for the future.

One of the speakers, the chief executive officer of TVC Communications, Mrs Victoria Ajayi, emphasized on the need for youths to develop their entrepreneurial skills.
This initiative aims at empowering young Nigerians and promote social justice by fostering a culture of entrepreneurship and innovation.
