Young Entrepreneurs in Nigeria are seeking Government’s support in the areas of infrastructure, funds and policies that will encourage students to develop interest in technology towards building their career.
The converged on the Oduduwa hall of the Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife to mark this year’s entrepreneurs week.
It’s one of the largest gatherings of Nigeria young founders’ and entrepreneurs.
It is a platform for young people to seek education, build relationships as well as network to help them build careers in technology.
The program drew over one thousand undergraduates and graduates of various disciplines from across fifteen public and private Universities in Nigeria.
The Convener, Damilola Mogaji advocates supports from the government and critical stakeholders for students on campus to be able to stand on their own using technology.
A number of presentations by the resource persons focused on the need for students to be carried along in any investment to be made on campus.
They also called for the formulation of policies that will provide solutions to the challenges of unemployment among graduates.
The event also featured panel discussion.
