In its second phase of disbursement of the Agricultural empowerment farming machines and inputs, Karasuwa, Nguru, machina, Gashua and other local government areas in zone “B” are now proud owners of their share of the items.
Yobe State government says this move is deliberately made to contain food scarcity and boost production in the respective communities.
Few weeks ago, the Yobe state government commenced the first phase of the distribution of agricultural empowerment machines and inputs to some local government areas of the State.
In this second phase, these agricultural items are for Nguru, Machina,
Gashua and other Local government areas in zone B.
These Agricultural items are for Jajimaji in Karasuwab LG.
The disbursement process is done by the committee in charge of the
distribution, and it is seamless.
Obviously, the people here are delighted, they are appreciating the move targeted at real farmers.
Women selected from various wards of their respective LGA are given
ruminants to improve livestock in their communities.
All the seventeen local Government area have so far received their
agricultural empowerment machines and farming inputs, and have disbursed same to the targeted beneficiaries at the ward levels.
