The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has picked a new date for the arraignment of the former governor of Kogi State Yahaya Bello.Mr Bello was scheduled to appear in court on 13th June but is absent from court at the instance of the EFCC.
Counsel to the EFCC Kemi Pinhero had reached out to the defendant that today was not convenient for him.

Counsel to Mr Bello on his part says the former governor was already to appear in court if not for the adjournment sought by the EFCC.
Justice Nwite thereafter adjourned the case to June 27 after an undertaking that the defendant would appear on that day.
