Yahaya Bello, Ahmed Lawan back Buhari’s APC reconciliatory move

The Kogi state Governor Yahaya Bello and the Senate Majority Leader Ahmed Lawan have expressed their support for President Muhammadu Buhari’s decision to appoint the APC National Leader Bola Tinubu to lead a committee set up to reconcile aggrieved APC members.

They stated this while speaking to Statehouse Correspondents after Juma’at Prayers with the President at the Presidential villa, Abuja.

Governor Bello also commented on the proposed rearrangement of the election Time table by the National Assembly, expressing confidence that whichever way elections are scheduled, President Muhammadu Buhari would still win the 2019 Presidential election.

Bello also spoke on reasons why he decided to sell off Ten State properties to finance the One hundred and fifty one billion naira 2018 budget of Kogi state, a decision which drawn stiff criticism from the opposition and some citizens.
