Xenophobic Attacks: President Buhari to visit South Africa Wednesday

Image result for Xenophobic Attacks: President Buhari visits South Africa WednesdayPresident Muhammadu Buhari is expected to depart Abuja on a three-day State Visit to South Africa on Wednesday.

This comes following an invitation by President Cyril Ramaphosa, to discuss welfare of Nigerians, and find common grounds for building harmonious relations with their hosts.

This was contained in a statement signed by Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity Garba Shehu

While in South Africa, President Buhari will hold a town hall meeting with Nigerians living in the country, to sharing in their experiences and reassuring them of the government’s commitment to protect lives and property.

The President and his delegation will also participate at a South Africa-Nigeria Business Forum with their host counterparts.

Recall that President Muhammadu Buhari had last month sent a powerful delegation led by the Country’s Spy chief, to the country, to find out when Nigerians have always been subject of attack in that country.

Also, former President Olusegun Obasanjo recently visited South Africa on the same issue.

More than 500 Nigerians have returned from South Africa following the attacks that destroyed their hard earn property and businesses.
