The Academic Staff Union of Universities has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to use the opportunity of the ongoing xenophobic attacks in South Africa to properly re-position and fix Nigeria.
The Union said Nigerians would not be forced to join the increasing army of global migrants and wanderers in search of elusive greener pastures if their country was economically buoyant and politically stable.
The ASUU National President, Biodun Ogunyemi made this known at the end of the union’s National Executive Council (NEC) meeting held at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta.
