The Federal government says it is committed to resolving the impasse between oil workers and Dangote Refinery.
Minister of Labour and Employment, Muhammad Dingyadi, gave the promise at the commencement of the meeting with Pengassan and Dangote Refinery.
At the meeting are the Minister of Finance and the Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun, Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Nkeruika Onyejiocha, representatives of the regulatory bodies, the leaderships of Trade Union Congress, TUC, PENGASSAN and Dangote Refinery.
In his opening remarks, just before the meeting went into closed doors, the Minister said the government did not understand the magnitude of the strike declared by PENGASSAN until now.
