Members of the People’s Democratic Party progressives, a faction of the PDP in Ekiti state has vowed to resist attempts by a former Governor of Ekiti state, Ayodele Fayose to hijack the party.
They made this known while reacting to Fayose’s call for peace and tranquility in Ekiti state PDP.
Members of the group accused the former Governor of weakening the party in order to prevent it from winning elections.
The group also called on party leaders who genuinely love the PDP in Ekiti state to come together and rescue the party.
