Kebbi State has been described as an APC State by a chieftain of the party in the State, Abubakar Sadiq Fakai.
Mr Abubakar Sidiq Fakai disclosed this while speaking on the This Morning programme with Yori Folarin on TVC News on Tuesday Morning.
Mr Fakai while speaking on the prevailing Political conditions in Kebbi State said everybody knows that the State is an APC State and voting and emergence of Leaders is based on intergrity and good reputation.
He disclosed that the State with the Chairman of the Progressives Governors Forum, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, as governor is a sure APC State.
Mr Fakai said the people of the State will only follow you if you have a good track record of performance and service to the people.
He said all the qualities he listed abound in the party’s candidates at all levels starting with Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and its Governorship Candidate Dr Nasiru Idris Koron Gwandu who was a former President of the Nigerian Union of Teachers.
He said the APC is good to go in Kebbi State with all critical stakeholders led by the State Governor, Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, the Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami (SAN) and Others on board.
He disclosed that the All Progressives Congress has continued to raise awareness among the people despite its obvious advantage as a an APC State to increase awareness as to why they should continue to support the party.
He commended the State Governor, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, for his efforts aimed at diversifying the Economy of Kebbi State while still working hard at enhancing its strong point which is agriculture.
He said the State has witnessed a lot of Economic Development within the almost 8 years of the Abubakar Atiku Bagudu administration.
He said the State government under the Leadership of Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu has invested in the right sectors like Power, Agricultural Processing and Others.
He disclosed that the State’s revenue base has increased with the presence of more companies who are also creating employment opportunities for residents of the State.
He added that the State government has invested a lot in social amenities and especially the Health Sector which has been expanded with more to come from the incoming State administration.
According to Mr Fakai, the State has also invested in Roads and Other Infrastructure including Federal roads like the Sokoto-Koko-Yauri road.
