The CEO of the NNPCL, Mele Kyari, said the meeting between the Chief of Defence Staff, Heads of Security and Intelligence agencies was called in response to a presidential directive to curb Crude Oil Theft.
The IGP affirmed this position and added that the focused effort is part of a larger action to keep the country safe.
For his part the CDS, General Christopher Musa, said the renewed effort will produce tangible results in 2 to 3 months.
