Updated: Osinbajo submits SGF, DG NIA’s probe report to Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari has received the report of the Investigation into the allegation of corruption against the suspended Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal.

He also received the report on the investigation into the humongous amount found in a private apartment which was claimed by the National Intelligence Agency, NIA.

Submitting the report, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, who chaired the committee, said the report was submitted with full recommendations but declined to give any detail of his recommendations because PMB has to look at it , study the report and make his own decisions based on that.

President Muhammadu Buhari, has postponed the the weekly Federal Executive meetingscheduled to hold today (Wednesday).

The president will however, receive the report of the investigation committee into the allegations against the suspended Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Babachir Lawal and the Director-General of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA), Ayo Oke at 12 noon in his office.

The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, disclosed in a statement that the meeting would not hold.

Recall that President returned to the country last Saturday after more than 100 days medical vacation in London.
