Presidential Candidate of the APC Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has described the Governor of Ebonyi State as a proactive Governor who has the love of the people at heart.
He made this known while inaugurating a series of projects in Abakaliki ahead of the presidential Rally in the State.
Asiwaju Bola Tinubu whose plane touched down in Enugu Airport and moved with his entourage to Ebonyi State Government house after which he inaugurated a series of projects from roads to Estate and flyover bridge, commended Governor David Umanyi for his proactiveness in infrastructure development in the State.
Asiwaju Bola Tinubu promised to work with the State to ensure that more development come into Ebonyi.
The former Lagos State Governor, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, a founding member of the APC has been at the forefront of Democratic Governance in Nigeria since the return of Democracy in 1999.
He started out as a member of the defunct Alliance For Democracy from where he started the Action Congress and later metamorphosed into the Action Congress of Nigeria and later fused with the Congress For Progressives Change, a faction of the All Progressives Grand Alliance and the New PDP and the All Nigerian Peoples Party to form the All Progressives Congress.
He emerged the Presidential candidate of the party at the Special National Convention and Presidential Primary at the Eagle Square in Abuja.
He has since embarked on a campaign that has been unprecedented in its scope and reach since the start of the current Democratic dispensation.
He is in Ebonyi state as part of the Presidential campaign of the All Progressives Congress.
He had also inaugurated the Ebonyi State Governors’ Lodge in Abuja last week.
The party’s campaign will be led by President Muhammadu Buhari and Other leaders of the All Progressives Congress.
The Ebonyi State Governor, Dave Umahi. is expected to be the Chief Host for the campaign.
