President Bola Tinubu has nominated Ibok-Ete Ekwe Ibas, immediate past sole administrator of Rivers state and former naval chief, as a non-career ambassador.

Tinubu also named Ita Enang, the former senator; Chioma Ohakim, former Imo state first lady; and Abdulrahman Dambazau, former minister of interior and former chief of army staff, as non-career ambassadors.

This is the third tranche of ambassadorial nominees with the first set of 3 mainly people with Security expierience like Retired Colonel Kayode Are a former NSA and DG Of the DSS, Ayodele Oke a former DG Of the NIA and Aminu Dalhatu.

The Second tranche of non career ambassadors includes wife of former Oyo State governor Florence Ajimobi and 28 Others.

The third tranche of 34 which has just been released are career ambassadors who have been members of the Diplomatic serrvice with long term experience and postings in several parts of the world.
