President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has arrived at the National Assembly complex for the presentation of the 2025 Budget presentation.
The President who is accompanied by top government officials is expected to present the Budget estimates of N47.9Trillion including sectoral estimates and allocation.
Security, Healthcare and Infrastructure Development are all expected to get significant boosts in the budget estimates.
The budget is designed to reduce the nation’s inflation rate from the current 34% to 15% in the fiscal year 2025.
The budget has also for the first time given unprecedented attention and priority to Education and Health.
The Nigerian Police Force and the Military are also expected to receive increased allocation as part of efforts aimed at enhancing homeland Security across the nation.
