President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has praised Katsina State Governor, Dikko Umaru Radda, for his commitment to combating insecurity and protecting lives and property across the state.

The President also extended similar commendations to Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno State and Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State for their respective initiatives in addressing security challenges in their states.

The commendation was given on Tuesday at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, where the President declared open the second edition of the National Economic Council meeting. Tinubu acknowledged Radda’s efforts to secure Katsina and counter criminal activities threatening peace and stability.

In response, Governor Radda thanked the President for the recognition and said the progress recorded in Katsina was a product of collective effort and strong collaboration with security agencies and residents.

“This recognition belongs to the people of Katsina State and our gallant security agencies who have stood firm in the face of adversity. We are making progress because we are working together,” he said.

Radda reaffirmed his administration’s resolve to sustain the fight against insecurity, stressing that support for security operatives would remain a top priority.

“We will not relent. We will not be distracted. We will continue to support our security forces with everything they need until peace is fully restored to every corner of Katsina.”

He further assured that the state government would maintain the momentum until lasting peace is achieved across the state.
