Super Eagles striker Rafiu Durosinmi has completed a record transfer to KRC Genk from Pisa as the most expensive signing valued for €10.5m (about N16.6bn).
The club made the announcement on its official website saying, “The wait is over. KRC Genk have secured their second signing of the summer with the arrival of Rafiu Durosinmi (23). The Nigerian centre-forward joins from Italian side Pisa SC and has signed a four-year contract at the Cegeka Arena.
With the addition of Durosinmi, KRC Genk bring in a striker who perfectly matches the club’s sporting ambitions. A complete centre-forward who combines strength, physical presence and a proven eye for goal. Ready to make an immediate impact, he adds an extra dimension and presence to Genk’s attacking line.”
The 23-year-old striker was part of the Super Eagles squad that won the 2026 Unity Cup in London earlier in May scoring in the final against Jamaica to seal a 3-0 victory.
