The United nations says an offensive by the South Sudanese government in the Jonglei region has displaced roughly 100 000 civilians.
The offensive has also caused aid workers to relocate from an area that has dire humanitarian problems.
In February, Famine was declared in two counties of South Sudan with aid workers repeatedly being blocked from delivering food aid by government and rebel forces.
As a result, cholera outbreak has intensified and is expected to spread during the upcoming rainy season due to continued conflict.
UN has warned the government that the offensive may aggravate food insecurity in the Jonglei region, which has some areas that are on the brink of famine.
