The President, Supreme Council for Sharia in Nigeria, Sheikh Abdulrosheed Hadiyyatullah has been buried according to Islamic rites.
Sheikh Hadiyyatullah died on Monday at the age of eighty-one was buried in his hometown in Iwo in Osun State.
A former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dimeji Bankole led the federal Government delegation to the burial.

In a statement by his Special Adviser, Bayo Onanuga, President Bola Tinubu described the late Islamic scholar as a devoted servant of Islam and humanity, who led with wisdom and impacted many through his Shariah College in Iwo, Osun State.
