Afrobeat Singer, Seun Kuti, has turned himself to the Lagos State Police Command.
His appearance at the Command follows the directive of the Inspector General of Police for his arrest after a viral video of him assaulting a Police officer on the Third Mainland Bridge following an altercation.
The Lagos State Police Command had on Sunday disclosed that it went looking for the singer at his home in Lagos and was nowhere to be found.
He has reportedly secured the services of Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Femi Falana, for his defence following widespread calls for his prosecution for assaulting an officer in uniform.
He was immediately moved to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti, Yaba fro further interrogation opn what happened leading to his altercation with the said officer who was slapped twice in the 44 seconds Video filmed by an eye witness on the Third Mailand Bridge.
